Rakesh serves as a program director leading the financial inclusion vertical of the foundation in India. He joined the foundation from Caregroup Sight Solution Pvt Ltd, a global med-tech company specializing in the manufacturing of intraocular lenses, where he last worked as the CEO. Prior to that, he co-founded an allergy diagnostic chain focused on tier-2 Indian markets to drive long-term sustainable and scalable impact in healthcare delivery. In his earlier career, he served as an investment banker advising large Indian and multi-national companies on JVs, M&As and capital raise across various industries. He holds an MBA from FMS, Delhi and B.Tech (CSE) from JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad.
