Sean manages a portfolio of investments in the foundation’s South African education portfolio, which includes overseeing the Partnership Schools program. The goal of the portfolio is to catalyze, develop, and scale innovative models of low-cost schooling that improve learning outcomes for children from low-income communities.
Prior to joining the foundation, Sean spent most of his corporate career working for Royal Dutch Shell in a number of global finance roles in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, and United States. He also worked in the non-profit sector in the areas of education, publishing, and church development. Sean is a qualified chartered accountant and holds an honors degree in finance from the University of South Africa.
