Janet leads the foundation’s efforts to build pathways that change lives for children and families around the world. She drives strategic priorities and oversees all areas of the foundation’s investments.
Under Janet’s leadership, the foundation has played a catalytic role in more than 4,000 innovative initiatives to expand high-quality education, accelerate access to world-class healthcare, and improve the economic stability of families across the U.S., India, Africa, and Israel — advancing Michael and Susan Dell’s $10+ billion commitment to changing lives. Janet was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and has also been awarded a Presidential Citation from The University of Texas.
Before joining the foundation in 2003, Janet was an executive at Dell Inc., where she led various Dell business units as vice president and general manager. Janet holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
