Dr. Alexander Dell began serving as a board member when the foundation launched in 1999. He ran a private orthodontic practice in Houston, Texas for more than 30 years and has three children, 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Dr. Dell received his B.S. from City College of New York in 1955; his D.D.S. from Columbia University’s School of Dental & Oral Surgery in 1959; and his M.S. in Orthodontics from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1964. He is a Diplomate of the America Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Dell’s advisory board positions include Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine , Aspen Music Festival and School, Rice University Humanities Research Center, Baker Institute, and the Shepherd School of Music.
