Marita leads technology at the foundation with a focus on using technology to run operations efficiently and increase the impact of the foundation’s mission. She oversees product development, IT infrastructure, security, and enterprise platforms across all offices, partnering with teams to design practical tools that automate processes and improve how work gets done.
She also drives the foundation’s AI strategy, advancing responsible adoption across programs and operations. Her team manages internal systems and the products that power the foundation’s scholarship programs, and advises teams on using technology effectively to deliver results.
Before joining the foundation in 2009, Marita was a software engineer and product manager at Intel in the U.S. and India. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Computer Technology and a Master of Computer Applications from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, India.
