Annie joins the foundation as a program officer with the Data Driven District program. Her previous professional experience centers around strategy and social impact and is underpinned by her MBA from UC Berkeley with a specialization in social sector leadership. Prior to joining the foundation, she worked as a consultant with McKinsey, as an investment associate at Edge Growth in Johannesburg, as an MBA intern at the California-based Rippleworks Foundation, a squad lead at the Nairobi-based social enterprise startup The Room, which is an initiative of the African Leadership Group, and, most recently, as a Strategic Project Lead at the African Management Institute, a pan-African company delivering practical business training to managers and entrepreneurs.
Annie is passionate about community, South Africa, and equity. She is dedicated to improving educational outcomes for children.
