Gaurav Jain leads the foundation’s efforts to move students from university to careers in India. He is motivated by a strong commitment to creating opportunities for ambitious young people in India and brings together experience across education, government, and industry to advance this work.
Prior to joining the foundation, Gaurav was the co-founder of Workverse, an edtech enterprise focused on building human skills among young people. Over four years, the organization reached more than 100,000 learners through innovative, gamified hybrid learning programs designed to improve employability outcomes.
Earlier in his career, Gaurav worked as a civil servant with the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, where he led multiple national-level initiatives across skill development for frontline employees, IT reforms, and broader HR transformation efforts. He has also worked as a derivatives trader, dealing in Eurodollar futures, U.S. Treasuries, and German Bunds.
