Sougata joins the foundation as a program manager on the India team, focusing on our jobs and livelihoods and education programs. Previously, Sougata served as the head of corporate development at Lighthouse Learning, where he oversaw mergers, acquisitions, and strategy initiatives. He also worked in investment banking for J.P. Morgan and served on the global mergers and acquisitions and strategy team at Motherson Sumi. Sougata is excited to make an impact across multiple sectors and industries.
Outside work, Sougata is a sports and music enthusiast who enjoys reading graphic novels and watching world cinema.
